A GREAT TRIP "SOUTH OF THE BORDER!" Report from Mark and Mary Jane
We just came back from two weeks in Latin America-speaking about evangelism and missions in Bible colleges during the day and speaking in churches, a men's meeting, a Pastors’ wives retreat, 2 big women’s meetings and door-to-door outreaches at night. We went with Syd and Liz Doyle of Nations Light Ministries, our primary missions agency. Syd and Liz have been to 50 countries sharing the Good News and we learn a great deal from them as veteran missionaries: what to do and what not to do! On this two week trip, the four of us spoke in 38 sessions to 3,235 people, seeing 134 make some type of decision for Christ.
In the Bible colleges, we were with amazing young students. Many of them had been involved in drugs or alcohol. Many have been abused by parents or relatives. Many were from poverty. But all have a passion for Jesus now and want to be used by Him in Latin America |
