                                                                                                                                                                                                After meeting on the streets of war-torn Belfast in 1972, the Doyle’s - Syd from N. Ireland and Liz from Ohio, USA - married and graduated from the Bible Training Institute, Glasgow, Scotland in 1974. They went on to pioneer and pastor 3 churches in southern England. In 1980 they began Ashford Christian Fellowship (ACF), Kent, England.

At the outset of their ministry the Lord promised: ‘I will make you a light to the nations’ Isa. 49:6

The Doyle’s have been actively engaged in evangelism over the years, ministering in 50 countries on 6 continents, motivating tens of thousands of believers to get involved in the end time harvest and seeing thousands saved. They have hosted major evangelistic initiatives as well as conferences and training days. During their ministry at ACF, tens of thousands were challenged through Gospel presentations on the streets, in theatres, schools, hospitals, youth clubs and in churches of most denominations. Many went out on short term missions and in 1998 alone, 65 ACF members went to 8 nations! Over the years, over 100 members went through formal training and were sent out as full-time workers around the world.

Today:
In 1998, after 23 years of ministry in England, the Lord moved the Doyle’s to the USA, where they are fulfilling their life long ambition of training and mobilizing believers to serve the Lord in evangelism. Syd completed his Master of Arts in Missions at Columbia International University, S. Carolina, while Liz continued to travel with her ministry “Releasing Daughters”.

As well as being Directors of Nations Light Ministries, Syd and Liz are Evangelists working "trans denominationally " from their base in southern Michigan.  They travel around the USA and the world speaking to large and small groups. They conduct training conferences for believers, seminars for leaders and evangelistic campaigns, challenging everyone to become involved in reaching the 1.7 billion unreached for Jesus.
